Water is my means and motivation to create art. I take her because my grandfather, made an effort to take care of the water sources in the village of Coyabo; because my father was dedicated to making pools to collect rainwater, and because of a historical fact where the aborigines Muiscas performed a ritual on the water in which they threw gold to her, in a place called the Laguna de Guatavita, from there the legend of El Dorado.

These paintings are created in a ritual to water, asking it to cleanse us and heal us from pain and absences. The colors are guided to create forms and sensations of water, spaces where life flows.
